About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salaried General Practitioner to join our forward-thinking GP Training practice in the picturesque Malvern Hills locality.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic environment, with a clinical workload that is exceptionally light, averaging 25 patient contacts per day. The practice follows BMA guidance, ensuring a manageable and sustainable workload for our GPs.

The role offers a competitive salary of £10,100 - £11,000 per session, plus indemnity fees paid, 6 weeks' annual leave, and 1-week study leave. We also offer a medium-long term opportunity for Partnership, making this an attractive option for GPs keen on career progression.

About the Practice

Our practice is a GP Training Practice based on the outskirts of the Malvern Hills, with a tightly knit team and low locum usage. We have a strong support system in place, with multiple Advanced Nurse Practitioners, PA, PNs, Pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals.

We pride ourselves on our outstanding staff retention and have a CQC Good rating across the board. Our practice is a GMS practice and we offer Tier 2 sponsoring.

Your Responsibilities

As a Salaried General Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Working 4 sessions per week (Tuesday + Friday)
  • Attending one monthly administrative session
  • Participating in daily coffee breaks during morning clinic
  • Managing a very reasonable clinical workload of 25 patients per day
  • Handling a low administrative burden, with circa 50 scripts/documents per day and 30 results/day
  • Conducting minimal home visits, averaging 1 per week per GP
  • Using the EMIS Clinical system
