Deputy Team Leader in Exams Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and proactive individual to support the Examination Team Leader in managing all aspects of the examination service at Wigan & Leigh College.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the college is fully compliant with JCQ, Awarding Body, audit, and inspection requirements. This will involve maintaining excellent working relationships at all levels and possessing a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your own workload.

The role is based in the Exams Team within the MIS Services Department, with regular travel between sites. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, where they will connect with a wide range of stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Examination Team Leader in managing the examination service
  • Maintaining compliance with JCQ, Awarding Body, audit, and inspection requirements
  • Developing and implementing effective examination processes
  • Providing excellent customer service to students and staff
