We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Study Skills Coach to join our team at Randstad. As a Study Skills Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting students with specific learning difficulties (SpLDs) to achieve their academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to cater to students' unique needs
  • Provide one-to-one support and guidance to students, promoting independence and confidence
  • Collaborate with students to identify and build on their strengths and learning strategies
  • Assist students in creating effective organization and time management systems
  • Help students develop research skills, including sourcing and referencing
  • Support students in improving their comprehension skills in reading and writing
Requirements:
  • Membership with a relevant professional body, such as the British Dyslexia Association (BDA) or the Association of Dyslexia (ADSHE)
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a student-centered role
  • Desirable skills include experience working with students with SpLDs, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage a caseload
