Position Overview
Binnies, a member of the RSK Group, is in search of a SHEA Consultant to become part of our @one Alliance.
Your Role as a SHEA Consultant (Procurement)
In the capacity of SHEA Consultant, you will be instrumental in fostering cooperation and effective communication among subcontractors, internal teams, and suppliers concerning Health, Safety, Wellbeing, Quality & Environment.
Core Responsibilities:
- Engage closely with suppliers, perform site inspections, and represent the Alliances in Tier 2 discussions.
- Take part in performance evaluations alongside Category Managers.
- Encourage teamwork with internal departments to improve supplier audits and support auditing efforts.
- Possess a strong understanding of procurement processes and communication tools for optimal performance.
- Guarantee the smooth incorporation of HSW considerations into procurement workflows.
- Conduct site visits during the supplier selection phase to evaluate SHEA compliance.
- Present the SHEA segment during onboarding sessions for new Framework suppliers.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be eligible for this role, candidates should possess a NEBOSH Construction Certificate, hold Technical grade membership of IOSH, and have prior experience in the construction or utilities sector. Strong communication, presentation, and report writing abilities are vital, along with the capability to engage with stakeholders across various levels. A valid UK driving license is necessary for site visits.
