MWH Treatment is actively looking for a SHEA Consultant - Procurement to enhance their SHEQ team. This position is pivotal in fostering cooperation and effective communication among subcontractors, internal teams, and suppliers regarding health, safety, wellbeing, quality, and environmental standards. As a SHEA Consultant, you will act as a key liaison for subcontractors, ensuring clear communication pathways for SHEA inquiries, standards, best practices, innovations, and requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Engage with suppliers, conduct site assessments, and represent the Alliances in Tier 2 discussions.
- Participate in performance evaluations alongside Category Managers.
- Facilitate teamwork with internal departments to improve supplier audits and support auditing initiatives.
- Exhibit expertise in collaborative procurement processes and the effective use of communication tools.
- Incorporate health, safety, and wellbeing considerations into procurement activities to uphold high standards.
- Conduct site evaluations during the supplier selection phase to ensure SHEA compliance.
- Deliver orientation sessions for new Framework suppliers, ensuring they align with organizational standards.
