About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team at Leonardo. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between theoretical concepts and practical implementation in our radar systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct applied research to explore new technologies and concepts
  • Develop high-level designs that consider the impact of design decisions on system performance
  • Design and develop low-level solutions using expertise in technical domains

We are recruiting for multiple roles from various backgrounds and skillsets. Based on your skills and foundation knowledge, we will assess where your knowledge and skills would best fit and discuss options with you.

About You

We are looking for candidates with a strong background in mathematics, engineering, or a relevant technology subject. A PhD, EngD, or other relevant research experience is ideal, but proven experience is also considered.

We are interested in candidates with:

  • Experience collaborating with others
  • A drive to continuously improve skills and knowledge
  • A methodical approach to solving complex problems
  • Experience planning, leading, and overseeing technical research or development tasks
  • An appreciation of Systems Engineering processes
  • Coding experience using a programming language to solve problems or develop models
  • Experience using Matlab and Simulink is an advantage
