Job Title: Plant Technician

NES Fircroft is seeking a skilled Plant Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

About the Role:

As a Plant Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the Plant Operations Team in carrying out electrical maintenance on Mobile Water treatment equipment. Your duties will include routine maintenance tasks, regeneration operations, housekeeping, and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Plant Operations Team in electrical maintenance tasks
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, regeneration operations, and housekeeping
  • Fault find and troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Work with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC software
  • Produce documentation and drawings for plant PLC
  • Maintain electrical control systems in containers, trailers, and skids
  • Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records
  • Follow EHS and Quality standards
Requirements:
  • Experience in industrial electrical works
  • Previous experience in industrial area, assembly, or operational role
  • Strong EHS and Quality awareness
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or NVQ3 in electrical based units, or similar
  • Drawing software skills
  • Experience in the Water treatment industry is an advantage, but not essential
