About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Maintenance Technician to join our team at NES Fircroft. As a key member of our Plant Operations Team, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance on our Mobile Water treatment equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Plant Operations Team in performing electrical maintenance tasks on Mobile Water treatment equipment.
  • Assist with routine maintenance tasks, regeneration operations, housekeeping, and fault finding.
  • Work with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC software to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
  • Fault find in control systems (PLCs', SCADA, DCS etc) through preventative and reactive maintenance.
  • Provide electrical and PLC support to the Plant and Assembly Team.
  • Produce documentation and drawings for the plant PLC.
  • Maintain electrical control systems in containers, trailers, and skids, including lighting, direct on-line, instrumentation, pumps/motors, etc.
  • Perform PLC modifications and fault finding in the regeneration plant, for sites, and on our control systems for mobile water treatment equipment.
  • Assist in the development of plant modification and improvement work.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS and Quality standards.

Requirements
  • Experience in industrial electrical works.
  • Previously worked in an industrial area, assembly, or other operational role.
  • Strong EHS and Quality awareness.
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, or NVQ3 in electrical based units, or similar.
  • Drawing software skills.
  • Experience in the Water treatment industry is an advantage, but not essential.
