Position: Cyber Security Manager
Location: London
Compensation: £100,000+
Locke & McCloud is in search of an experienced Cyber Security Manager for a prominent global enterprise with a presence in multiple regions. This organization prioritizes its workforce and actively promotes cyber security throughout its operations, embracing innovative technologies.
If you possess a robust technical background in cyber security with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, we encourage you to explore this opportunity further.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute information security protocols, guidelines, and documentation in partnership with the Technology division, ensuring adherence to all regulatory standards.
- Assist leadership by utilizing a comprehensive understanding of industry audit and compliance frameworks, alongside internal policies and procedures.
- Oversee cross-departmental initiatives to fulfill risk management objectives, policies, and practices.
- Establish and nurture partnerships with security vendors, including SoC, SiEM, and MDR service providers.
- Manage audit outcomes (internal, external, and client-driven) to ensure that business units comprehend the issues and that corrective actions effectively mitigate information security vulnerabilities.
- Supervise the cyber incident management process and create essential documentation repositories, policy documents, operational schedules, and procedures.
- Facilitate and support the exceptions and waivers process, ensuring that exceptions are thoroughly reviewed and appropriate actions are implemented.
- Advocate for the organization’s security policies to guarantee that adequate measures are taken to protect sensitive information and reduce security incidents.
- Lead post-incident inquiries and provide guidance to resolve issues and refine procedures to bolster the organization’s information security defenses.
- Demonstrate experience in developing and inspiring a team, mentoring members through career advancements and milestones.
