Automation Systems Engineer

NTER TALENT is seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated systems that enhance production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Automated Processes: Develop and implement automated processes to optimize production efficiency, leveraging your expertise in PLC programming, process automation, and production engineering.
- Analyze Production Processes: Analyze production processes to identify and apply suitable automation technologies, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
- Develop and Refine Equipment: Develop and refine equipment and processes to maximize automation potential, collaborating with equipment suppliers to ensure designs prioritize safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with Production Engineering and Maintenance teams to ensure smooth handover of automated processes to production, overseeing project budgets, spare parts, and related expenses.
- Implement and Enhance Production Systems: Implement and enhance production systems, processes, and machinery, staying current with trends in engineering technology and production processes.
- Develop and Execute Plans for Process Improvements: Develop and execute plans for process improvements, introducing efficiency improvements in machine and production processes, and implementing Just-In-Time (JIT) activities.
- Follow APQP Standards: Follow APQP standards for project implementation, creating and managing engineering documents like FMEA and control plans.
- Task Production Engineers: Task Production Engineers with line improvements, planning optimal process flow and work methods to maximize output without compromising quality.
- Set Targets for Project Activities: Set targets for project activities and monitor outcomes, ensuring effective project schedules and capital investments for equipment.
- Proficiency in PLC Programming: Proficiency in PLC programming and fault finding (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Keyence, etc.).
- Experience with PLC Systems: Experience with PLC systems and automated production processes.
- Knowledge of Robotics and Mechanical Systems: Knowledge of robotics, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in production.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with RCCA and formal problem-solving techniques (e.g., SGA, DMAIC, PDCA).
- Experience with Production Engineering Documentation: Experience with production engineering documentation (FMEA, process flow diagrams) in line with IATF standards.
- Knowledge of OEE and Planned Maintenance: Knowledge of OEE, planned maintenance, and spares control.
- Ability to Implement Project Schedules: Ability to implement project schedules effectively, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering: Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in Electronics and/or Automotive Manufacturing: Experience in electronics and/or automotive manufacturing is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
