Job Overview

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Automation Controls Engineer to enhance our diverse
engineering team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in the design, programming, and execution of control systems, demonstrating a commitment to developing efficient and dependable solutions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute control systems for robotic automation utilizing Python, with C++ knowledge as a beneficial asset.
  • Create intuitive and user-centric interfaces for instrument control and monitoring.
  • Integrate and connect with various hardware components, including motion control systems, detectors, and secondary instrumentation.
  • Diagnose and rectify issues related to controls and instrumentation to guarantee optimal instrument performance and reliability.
  • Maintain documentation for data acquisition and control systems, providing onsite technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Assembly teams to ensure the successful achievement of project milestones.
  • Continuously enhance skills and knowledge by participating in training programs and staying updated on new trends and best practices.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in the robotics automation engineering sector.
  • Experience with industrial robots, including commissioning and programming using proprietary languages.
  • Proficiency in Python; familiarity with SCADA, Ignition, and ROS is advantageous.
  • Understanding of control system design and implementation.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks based on project goals.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and presenting ideas clearly.
