Automation Controls Engineer

Position OverviewWe are in search of a proficient and seasoned Automation Controls Engineer to enhance our diverse
engineering team. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in the design, programming, and execution of control systems, demonstrating a commitment to developing efficient and dependable solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
- Design and deploy control systems for robotic automation utilizing Python, with C++ knowledge being a beneficial addition.
- Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for the management and monitoring of instruments.
- Integrate and connect with various hardware components, including motion control systems, detectors, and secondary instrumentation.
- Diagnose and rectify issues related to controls and instrumentation to guarantee optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain documentation for data acquisition and control systems, providing on-site technical support during installation and commissioning phases.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Assembly teams to ensure the successful achievement of project milestones.
- Continuously enhance skills and knowledge by participating in training programs and staying updated on new trends and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the robotics automation engineering sector.
- Experience with industrial robots, including commissioning and programming using proprietary languages.
- Proficiency in Python; familiarity with SCADA, Ignition, and ROS is advantageous.
- Understanding of control system design and implementation.
- Competent in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm for learning new technologies.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively based on project objectives.
