We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training & Safety Centre Operations Lead to join our team at Greater Manchester Combined Authority.
About the Role:
The Training & Safety Centre Operations Lead will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Training & Safety Centre, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage and coordinate training programs, including scheduling, logistics, and resource allocation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address operational issues and areas for improvement.
- Monitor and report on operational performance, including metrics and key performance indicators.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in a similar operational role, preferably in a training or education setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
