About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Team Leader to join our team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Facilities Department, you will be responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of our facilities, ensuring a high-quality environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the supervisory teams within the Facilities Department, ensuring effective leadership and guidance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, quality, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Estates and Facilities Teams to ensure seamless service provision.
  • Monitor and respond to service failures, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
  • Implement best practice solutions to inform and support continuous service improvement.
Requirements
  • Supervisory experience in facilities services, including Catering, Portering, and Domestics.
  • Detailed knowledge of healthcare FM services operations.
  • BTEC or ILM Level 3 in Facilities Management.
  • Experience with MS Office (including: Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint).
  • Good level of written English.
