Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Dietitian to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Dietetic team at University Hospital Hairmyres. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of specialities, including medical and surgical areas.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality specialist dietetic service to acute in-patients and out-patients. This will include providing a dietetic service to:
- Acute Inpatient Services
- Acute out-patient services
- Multidisciplinary meetings
- Patient and staff education sessions
- Service development

What We're Looking ForWe are looking for a registered dietitian with valid HCPC registration, educated to degree level, and with postgraduate expertise within the speciality/area of practice. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality/area of practice, as well as specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies, and procedures.
The successful candidate will also possess excellent teamwork and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate others and work using their own initiative. They will have excellent listening, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as effective time management skills and working knowledge of basic information technology.
