Job Title: Adult Diabetes Specialist Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietitian to join our dynamic team at University Hospital Hairmyres. As an Adult Diabetes Specialist Dietitian, you will play a vital role in delivering a quality specialist dietetic service to acute in-patients and out-patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a dietetic service to acute in-patients and out-patients
  • Deliver a quality specialist dietetic service to multidisciplinary meetings
  • Conduct patient and staff education sessions
  • Contribute to service development
Requirements:
  • Registered Dietitian with valid HCPC Registration
  • Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
  • Postgraduate expertise within speciality/area of practice
  • Specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures
  • Further education/evidence of Continuous Professional Development
Contract Details:
  • Fixed Term or Secondment for 12 months
  • Part-Time
  • 26 hours - Additional hours may become available
