Deputy Boutique Manager Job Description

The Deputy Boutique Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our boutique, driving sales, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, this dynamic individual will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of boutique operations, including retail operations, stock control, health and safety, security, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-monitor sales targets and KPIs, implementing annual action plans to drive business growth.
  • Provide regular reporting to the Area Manager, highlighting sales, traffic, KPIs, and other key metrics, with actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Run analytical reports to inform boutique performance and identify areas for optimization.
  • Ensure the boutique's notice boards are up-to-date and visually appealing.
Client Treatment:
  • Embodies the Piaget brand, delivering exceptional customer service and a 'wow' experience to every client.
  • Handles customer service and client issues with professionalism and poise, escalating concerns to the Area Manager as needed.
  • Develops and implements an effective data capture and follow-up system to nurture client relationships.
Team Co-Management:
  • Co-manages boutique staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and effective security protocols.
  • Leads daily briefings, animating the team and driving commercial actions to meet business targets.
  • Participates in 'one-to-one' meetings with sales staff, providing coaching and guidance to optimize performance.
Boutique Operations:
  • Ensures compliance with sales, financial, and security procedures, implementing guidelines defined by the Area Manager and Piaget.
  • Analyzes qualitative evaluation feedback, developing corrective action plans to drive improvement.
  • Co-organizes CRM activities within the boutique, ensuring effective data management and client engagement.
Stock Control:
  • Responsible for replenishing stock according to Piaget procedures and policies.
  • Maintains effective stock controls, ensuring continued stock supply and optimal stock management.
  • Leads daily and annual stock inventories, managing in- and out-stock transfers, and ensuring accurate stock records.

Requirements:

  • Prior management experience in luxury retail or service, with a strong background in operations and customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft, with knowledge of SAP a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities.
  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner, with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
