Remedy Education is seeking a qualified SEN instructor to provide personalized educational support for two students requiring home-based instruction.


Position Summary:
The students, who are twins, both have Special Educational Needs (SEN) and possess Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

They will need 2 hours of tailored instruction each day, totaling 10 hours per week, and this role is expected to be ongoing.

Responsibilities include delivering individualized and small group educational sessions in English and Mathematics.
Employ diverse teaching strategies and resources to ensure that learning is both engaging and accessible.
Candidates should hold relevant educational qualifications or a related degree (e.g., in English, Mathematics, Science, Education, or equivalent).
Previous experience in tutoring and working with SEN students is essential.
A strong understanding of the curriculum and assessment criteria for English and Mathematics is required.
Candidates should demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, and a sincere commitment to fostering student success.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities is crucial.
An enhanced DBS check is necessary (or a willingness to obtain one).
A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) or equivalent is preferred.
Familiarity with SEN and effective strategies to support a diverse range of learners is important.
