We are a small, family-run business and are looking for a reliable Removals Specialist. Located in South East London, Eltham. We do removals of households, offices and clearances. **About you**

You have to be someone with a can-do attitude, excellent communication skills, high responsibility, able to work under pressure, ability to work well with a team and ability to use your initiative. Must be flexible Monday-Friday with some weekend availability.

**Position Overview**:
A Removals Specialist is responsible for the efficient and safe removal, transportation, and installation of household or office goods. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills. The Removals Specialist works as part of a team to ensure that items are packed, loaded, transported, and unpacked without damage and in accordance with customer requirements. Driver is responsible for loading the van safely.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Packing and Preparation**:

- Carefully pack items, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Label boxes accurately.
- Dismantle and reassemble furniture and equipment as necessary.
- **Loading and Unloading**:

- Safely load items onto the removal vehicle, maximizing space and ensuring weight distribution is balanced.
- Secure items in the vehicle to prevent movement during transit.
- Unload items at the destination, handling them with care to avoid damage.
- **Customer Service**:

- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing any concerns or special requests.
- Provide clear and accurate information regarding the removal process.
- Handle customer belongings with respect and professionalism.
- **Health and Safety**:

- Follow health and safety guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Use lifting equipment and other tools correctly.
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- **Administrative Tasks**:

- Complete required paperwork, such as delivery receipts.
- Report any incidents or damages to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of hours worked and jobs completed.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience: Previous experience in removals is preferred, but not essential. Willing to learn.
- Skills:

- Strong physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy items.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Basic mechanical skills for furniture assembly.

**Working Conditions**:

- Environment: This role involves working in various environments, including homes, offices, and warehouses.
- Physical Demands: Significant physical activity, including lifting, carrying, and bending.
- Hours: May include evenings, weekends, and holidays, depending on customer needs. No fixed schedule.

**Pay**:

- 12£ per hour

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £12.00 per hour

- Weekend availability
