Job Description

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Professional to join our team at MLK Education Search. As a Therapeutic Learning Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education to children with significant SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a well-sequenced curriculum that meets the needs of children with SEMH needs.
  • Facilitate child-centred learning and ensure that lessons are engaging and motivating for all pupils.
  • Manage behaviour positively and in line with the school's ethos and procedures.
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, using data to inform teaching and learning.
  • Role-model the values and expectations of the school, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

  • QTS and Induction completion or equivalent teacher training.
  • At least a good first degree in a core subject.
  • A range of experience in delivering a creative curriculum to children with SEMH/SEN.
  • Further training or qualifications related to SEMH/SEN.
