Therapeutic Learning Support Assistant

Empowering Learning is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Secondary SEND School in Southwark, London. As a Psychology Graduate, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with Autism, aged 11-19, in a therapeutic and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with Autism in a full-time capacity, promoting their emotional regulation and inclusion in learning activities.
- Develop therapeutic relationships with pupils, empowering them to reach their full potential.
- Collaborate with the school team to maximize pupil achievement and well-being.
Benefits:

- Excellent rates of pay and a permanent contract opportunity.
- Full-time position, 5 days a week, with a contract duration of 12-39 weeks.
Requirements:
- Desirable experience in supporting children or young adults with SEND needs.
- Able to de-escalate and support emotional regulation.
- Valid DBS registration or willingness to apply for a new one.
- Availability for a minimum of 12-39 weeks.
