About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Compliance Professional to join our team at Openwork UK Ltd. As an Assurance Oversight Expert, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective delivery of assurance oversight, keeping our organization safe and reducing consumer harm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Risk Management: Identify and report any quality, trends, themes, emerging risks, and behavioral indicators that may impact our organization.
  • Efficiency and Compliance: Identify opportunities for improved efficiencies and strengthen regulatory controls to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Expert Support: Provide subject matter expertise and oversight across Openwork and 2plan entities within the COO function to support the delivery of effective control management across AR monitoring activity.
  • Governance and Assurance: Undertake a variety of governance, monitoring, and assurance activities, including supporting compliance-based audits and risk assessments focused on systems and controls across operational functions.
  • Effective Escalation: Escalate effectively and make suggestions for action to keep our organization safe and reduce consumer harm.
  • Business Process Understanding: Display an understanding of end-to-end business processes, procedures, and systems across operational functions to ensure implications of change are fully understood and communicated.
  • Project Support: Provide support to projects and initiatives as required, including internal and external audits and oversight.
  • Policy and Standards Review: Undertake regular reviews of policies and standards to ensure they are up-to-date and fit for purpose.
  • Documentation and Collaboration: Work alongside business functions to document governance frameworks and processes, and attend relevant groups/committees as required.

  • Competitive Salary: £34,000 per annum
