Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing, and leading multiple projects from concept through to completion. You will interact with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that projects fully meet business requirements and are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
    • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
    • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Project Risk Management
    • Design a risk mitigation plan and perform risk management to minimize project risks.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration
    • Direct internal and external project resources, coordinate meetings, and produce project reports.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
  • Project Monitoring and Control
    • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
    • Track and communicate project progress across all sites.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in an engineering or science discipline.
  • Prince II / PMP / APM PMQ certification or equivalent training/experience.
  • A good knowledge of key regulations (e.g. DSEAR, CDM, COMAH).
  • Skilled in MS Office suite, particularly Excel and MS Project.
  • Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

  • 3+ years of experience working in a chemical manufacturing or process industry organization.
  • Experience working on a COMAH site.
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) throughout their career.
