Assistant General Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our restaurant. Our company, Isisekelo Recruitment, values a Mediterranean lifestyle where food is a central part of bringing people together.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control the implementation of back-of-house (BOH) and front-of-house (FOH) procedures to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Conduct and manage opening and closing procedures for both BOH and FOH, ensuring all systems are in place and staff are prepared.
  • Collaborate with the store management team to conduct brand audits as directed by Home Office, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure adherence to financial systems, POS, and brand processes, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • Manage profit and loss statements, stock levels, and rota management to optimize restaurant performance.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the restaurant industry, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role.
