• Teaching: Delivering high-quality dance lessons to students across all year groups, promoting physical fitness, creativity, and expression.
• Curriculum Development: Collaborating with the PE department to develop and enhance the dance curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs and interests of all students.
• Extracurricular Activities: Leading and supporting extracurricular dance clubs, teams, and events, encouraging student participation and showcasing talent.
• Assessment: Preparing and assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development in dance.
• Collaboration: Working closely with PE colleagues to integrate dance into the wider physical education program and support departmental initiatives.

Requirements:

• A relevant qualification in dance or a related field.
• Experience teaching dance to young people, preferably in a school setting.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of various dance styles and techniques.
• A passion for dance and a commitment to promoting physical education.
