Job Summary

We are seeking an Intermediate Designer to join our London studio at IA Interior Architects. As a key member of our design team, you will provide support in project administration, design development, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior designers to complete technical drawings and develop design ideas
  • Assist in selecting fixtures and finishes, and provide preliminary reviews of engineering drawings
  • Develop preliminary space plans and assist in field surveying of client spaces
  • Compile pricing from manufacturers and representatives, and assist in collecting information for client assessment
  • Support the team in developing skills working with Affinity program tools
Requirements
  • Graduate of an architecture, interior architecture, or interior design program
  • 3-5 years of related work experience, with a focus on corporate workplace and hospitality interior design projects
  • Advanced Revit and Adobe Creative Suite skills, with experience working on projects in the UK and/or EU
  • Detailed experience of concept design, construction documentation, and coordination with engineers
  • Right to work in the UK, with a minimum of 3 days per week in the office
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of design principles and aesthetics
  • Familiarity with space planning methodology, furnishings, and finishes
  • Intermediate sketching and rendering skills, with basic Affinity Program skills
  • Advanced Enscape skills, with client-facing and professional communication skills
