About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Education IT Business Development Manager to join our client's IT education team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities within Further Education and Independent schools.
  • Strategy Execution: Create and execute business development strategies and account plans to develop a new business pipeline.
  • Account Management: Actively manage your new account base for 12 months to ensure retention and growth of accounts.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships and act as a trusted advisor to influence key decision makers within existing FE's and Independent schools.
  • Sales Forecasting: Manage Salesforce activity and forecasting to reflect an accurate pipeline.
  • Event Representation: Represent our client at local and national events.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years demonstrable IT hardware, software, and services sales experience.
  • EduTech Industry: Experience within the EduTech industry is highly desirable.
  • Target Driven: Target driven with a track record of achieving/exceeding targets.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional presentation and communication skills both in person and remote with experience pitching attractive business propositions.
  • Professional Development: Passionate about technology and committed to continued professional development, keeping up to date with trends within the IT and Education sectors.
  • Personality: A confident, enthusiastic, and friendly personality, with a forward-thinking and innovative attitude.
  • Driving License: A full clean UK driving licence.
  • Residency: UK resident with unrestricted right to work in the UK.
