Childcare Administration Specialist

Nursery Administrator presents a chance to become a vital member of our team at The Salvation Army, recognized for delivering quality Early Years care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.
Key Responsibilities: Under the guidance of the Nursery Manager, the chosen candidate will collaborate with the management team to oversee the nursery office and reception, serving as the primary point of contact for parents and guardians, and addressing inquiries regarding nursery placements. It is essential to accurately input funding data related to Free Early Years Education Entitlement into the Local Authority portal within specified deadlines. The nursery administrator should possess a solid understanding of managing Excel spreadsheets and maintaining up-to-date payment records for parents and guardians. Monthly invoicing for parents, guardians, and third parties will also be required.
The ideal candidate(s) will demonstrate:
Proven experience in an administrative capacity Proficiency in IT, including a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Teams, and Outlook Capability to manage nursery finances, settle accounts with creditors, generate invoices, and assist in the preparation of annual financial statements and budgets Ability to maintain both digital and physical filing systems to a high standard, ensuring documents are easily accessible to authorized personnel while safeguarding against unauthorized access Commitment to working within the Christian values of The Salvation Army Teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues-
