Job Overview

Discover a rewarding opportunity within the Prime Brokerage Inventory Control team.

As an Analyst specializing in Prime Brokerage Inventory Management, your primary responsibility will be overseeing Cash and Repo transaction inventories, focusing mainly on pair-off activities. You will ensure that all payments and receipts are processed efficiently and that transactions are settled and reconciled in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and confirm eligible pair-off opportunities with Brokers within the designated daily timeframe.
  • Initiate payments and ensure that net cash receipts are accurately agreed upon and processed by brokers in a timely manner, while actively monitoring and following up on any non-receipts.
  • Guarantee that trades are settled accurately, promptly, and efficiently.
  • Maintain updated transaction statuses in the workflow tool to ensure a clear audit trail and facilitate client reporting.
  • Escalate any unmatched trades, outstanding cash issues, or urgent requirements for assistance.
  • Complete, review, and approve End of Day controls.
  • Develop detailed business control metrics.
  • Ensure all tasks are executed within established timeframes, processing windows, market regulations, and bank policies to minimize risk.
  • Maintain reference data related to processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on activities to identify opportunities for enhancing the operating model and reducing turnaround times.
  • Engage in initiatives aimed at developing and improving the function and operating model, including process improvement and technology development deliverables.
