Senior HR Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior HR Advisor to join our team at Agility Resourcing. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of our organization.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and guidance on complex HR matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievances.
- Assisting the HR Manager with appeal processes, including disciplinary, grievances, and flexible working request appeals.
- Managing long-term absence management cases, including occupational health and medical referrals.
- Supporting managers with informal and formal performance management processes.
- Collaborating with the HR Manager to provide guidance, coaching, and support on all HR activities, ensuring a consistent and fair approach to people management across the business.
- Assisting with the delivery of ad-hoc HR projects as required.
- Managing the HR team in the absence of the HR Manager.
- Independently running all end-to-end formal processes, including attending meetings, note-taking, and creation of all invite/outcome letters.
- Working closely with payroll and recruitment functions to ensure smooth running of processes and identify better ways of working.
- Assisting the L&D Manager with internal HR training when required.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Qualification to CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proven HR generalist background and full understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
- Continual updating of CPD and provision of evidence of such.
- Experience of internal training sessions.
- Proactive and self-motivated approach.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and numeric skills, including providing written and oral advice in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to hold difficult conversations using patience, sensitivity, diplomacy, and integrity.
- Excellent IT skills with a sound working knowledge of MS Office and others.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a calm and methodical approach to work, and a flexible and adaptable attitude to resolving issues.
