**Job Summary**

Abacus Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Credit Control Administrator to join our team. As an Apprentice Credit Control Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial function and building strong relationships with our credit controllers.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Ensure customer data is accurate and up-to-date at all times.
  • Provide timely and accurate management data to support business decisions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize risk and support business growth.
  • Support the evaluation of customer credit limits and develop a deep understanding of each consolidated invoicing customer.
  • Chase customers for overdue debts and manage the consolidated ledger to ensure accurate and matched information.
  • Process incoming funds and maintain the reconciliation of accounts.
  • Maintain the credit control system and processes in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance colleagues.
  • Check customers' credit and approve or decline applications based on company standards and requirements.
  • Maintain accurate master data records and work closely with the Credit Manager to improve and implement debt collection processes.

**Requirements**

  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including MS Excel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
