**Job Summary**
Abacus Consulting is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Credit Control Administrator to join our team. As an Apprentice Credit Control Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our financial function and building strong relationships with our credit controllers.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure customer data is accurate and up-to-date at all times.
- Provide timely and accurate management data to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to minimize risk and support business growth.
- Support the evaluation of customer credit limits and develop a deep understanding of each consolidated invoicing customer.
- Chase customers for overdue debts and manage the consolidated ledger to ensure accurate and matched information.
- Process incoming funds and maintain the reconciliation of accounts.
- Maintain the credit control system and processes in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance colleagues.
- Check customers' credit and approve or decline applications based on company standards and requirements.
- Maintain accurate master data records and work closely with the Credit Manager to improve and implement debt collection processes.
**Requirements**
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, including MS Excel.
- Attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
