Overview:
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Leader to oversee the design, development, and validation processes of aftermarket and remanufactured products within our global engineering division. This position is vital for managing cross-departmental projects and ensuring successful outcomes by collaborating with key business partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead various cross-departmental projects from initiation to completion, defining scope and objectives with internal stakeholders.
  2. Establish performance benchmarks, create project plans, develop timelines, identify key milestones, and monitor progress.
  3. Address project challenges, track and communicate project status, and manage the project budget effectively.
  4. Document and disseminate team insights and mentor other Project Managers in team management.
  5. Oversee aftermarket engineering operations, working closely with sales, marketing, and product management to align with business and customer requirements.
  6. Drive engineering initiatives to support product line expansion and develop comprehensive solutions for the aftermarket clientele.
  7. Innovate to resolve field challenges and enhance products, assist manufacturing in new product development processes, and improve remanufacturing yields.
  8. Support procurement in ensuring supply continuity, enhancing quality, and managing cost efficiency.

Qualifications:
  • Extensive relevant experience in the automotive sector, preferably in Commercial Vehicle or braking systems.
  • Strong project management capabilities, adept at navigating complexity and resolving conflicts.
  • Core engineering expertise with a robust foundation in mechanical engineering principles.
  • Experience in cross-functional design integration, systems design, and product reliability risk management.
  • Financial insight and business acumen.
  • Proficient in managing project resources, timelines, scopes, issues, and risks effectively.
