Position Overview: At McCann Central, we are in search of a skilled and proactive Senior Executive Assistant to deliver high-level assistance to our leadership team, including the Managing Director, Chief Creative Officer, and Executive Creative Director. The ideal candidate will be based in our Birmingham (Solihull) office and will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage calendars, appointments, and meeting schedules, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Coordinate travel logistics, including flights, accommodations, and transportation using our internal travel system.
- Prepare and refine correspondence, presentations, and reports as required.
- Organize meetings, arrange hospitality, and welcome clients.
- Handle sensitive information with utmost discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Assist with special projects, events, and other ad hoc tasks as needed.
- Prioritize and manage incoming communications, including emails.
- Anticipate the needs of executives and proactively address them.
- Input timesheets weekly and process expense and mileage claims.
- Collaborate with Front of House to ensure seamless operations and support company initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of the agency's personnel, personalities, and current affairs.
- Act as a sounding board for the cultural implications of business decisions.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar capacity, ideally in a dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Trustworthiness and discretion in handling confidential matters.
- Adaptability and readiness to embrace new challenges.
- Previous experience in the advertising or marketing sector is advantageous.
- Basic data management skills, including charting and pivot tables in Excel, are a plus.
