Position: Head of Capital Markets and Financing

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as the Head of Capital Markets and Financing. This role is pivotal within our European Capital Markets division, which is part of a larger Global Capital Markets framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead efforts in securing and executing lending investments across various European markets.
  • Design and establish investment vehicles tailored for institutional investors.
  • Develop and nurture direct relationships with a diverse range of investors, including private individuals, hedge funds, asset management firms, banks, and insurance entities.
  • Contribute to the formulation and execution of specific Capital Markets transactions and oversee post-launch management.
  • Collaborate closely with teams across Commercial, Strategic Business Development, Legal, Product, Operations, and Communications.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 to 15 years of experience in investment banking, asset management, or hedge fund environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of structured credit and fixed income markets, along with a robust network of key buy-side contacts.
  • Proficiency in European languages such as French, German, and/or Spanish is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a wide array of investors and stakeholders, from C-suite executives to mid-level teams.
  • Demonstrated quantitative and analytical abilities, with a track record of managing complex transactions involving multiple legal and operational stakeholders.

Compensation:

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience, within the range of £70K - £100K, plus benefits.
