About the Role

Gore Street Capital is a leading player in the UK energy storage sector, capitalizing on opportunities to invest in robust businesses and assets contributing to the transition to a low-carbon, sustainable economy.

The company's dedicated team is a market driver in renewable energy, bringing a wide range of skills and expertise to the table.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the ESG and IR Teams
    • Liaise with corporate brokers on Q&As from existing and potential investors
    • Track and monitor engagement with current investors, support timely response to ad-hoc investor queries
    • Support external equity research
  • Capital Markets Support
    • Assist with maintaining investor relations calendar, including any annual or periodic reporting requirements and events
    • Support with organizing capital markets day and track conference schedules
    • Support the function in liaising with PR on RNS statements, investor communications and media strategy
  • ESG and Sustainability
    • Support reports against relevant ESG frameworks (TCFD, SFDR, PRI)
    • Improve and implement the manager's ESG strategy
    • Assist with managing and conducting environmental and social safeguarding due diligence prior to major acquisitions
Requirements
  • Qualifications/Training
    • An advanced degree in a related subject
  • Experience/Knowledge
    • Previous experience working with the SFDR, PRI and TCFD frameworks
    • A working knowledge of the relevant ESG frameworks (i.e., TCFD, SFDR, PRI)
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Exposure to the renewables industry desired
    • Understanding of the capital markets and industry performance metrics
    • Strong written, oral and presentation skills
    • Strong Microsoft suite skills
    • Attention to detail and discipline with multiple deadlines
    • Self-motivated and pride in work product
