Job Summary

Hireful Careers is seeking a skilled Legacy Officer to join our team. As a Legacy Officer, you will play a vital role in the fundraising team, managing the administration and stewardship of legacy donations that help support life-saving work.

About the Role

You will work closely with the Individual Giving Development Manager to develop and implement the legacy program. This will involve engaging with our dedicated supporters, organizing visits, meetings, and events that inspire new legacy pledges and strengthen relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the legacy program in collaboration with the Individual Giving Development Manager
  • Manage the administration and stewardship of legacy donations
  • Engage with supporters to inspire new legacy pledges and strengthen relationships
  • Organize visits, meetings, and events to support legacy fundraising efforts
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need a proven track record in legacy fundraising, excellent numeracy skills for financial analysis, and a deep understanding of relationship fundraising techniques. It would be beneficial if you had an understanding of medical or emergency services, or the ability to translate medical issues into compelling fundraising proposals.
