Are you currently working as an Internal Auditor, Quality Manager, or Technical Support Manager in the food manufacturing industry and seeking a company that provides ample growth prospects? This position may be the perfect fit for you.
In this role, you will report directly to the Technical Manager and play a vital role in our client's Technical Team by ensuring that customer standards are upheld and compliance is consistently maintained across the site. Your responsibilities will include conducting Internal and External audits, overseeing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), preparing for BRC audits, and addressing any non-conformances with the Production and Technical departments. A proactive mindset will be essential as you will also contribute insights into solutions for any non-conformances identified during audits. You will take ownership of the non-conformance system and be accountable for following up on outstanding issues.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Food Science, demonstrate a strong desire to learn, and have experience in a Lead Auditor, Quality Manager, or Technical Support Manager role within the food manufacturing sector. A clear pathway for progression is also a priority for you.
Additionally, desirable qualifications include completion of a Lead Auditor course, familiarity with leading retailer standards, and certifications in Level 3 HACCP and Food Safety.
