Job Title: Principal UI Software Engineer

Our client, a leading financial services group, is seeking a Principal UI Software Engineer to lead the UI team for their flagship trading platform. This role is hands-on, with leadership and mentoring responsibilities, combining coding expertise with strategic oversight.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the platforms UI team, setting high standards for React, Typescript, and JavaScript development.
  • Collaborate on risk management and issue escalation.
  • Drive agile development using tools like JIRA and ensure best practices across teams.
Requirements:
  • Strong experience with React, Typescript, JavaScript, and UI libraries like Material UI or Ant Design.
  • Expertise in CSS preprocessors, testing frameworks, and build tools (e.g., js, AWS, Figma, and Storybook).
