Key Responsibilities
  • Client Portfolio Management: Ensure clients receive exceptional service exceeding their expectations.
  • Audit Oversight and Budgeting: Lead audits for OMB, fully listed, and AIM listed clients. Coordinate with Managers and partners for larger assignments.
  • Commercial Insight: Develop a comprehensive understanding of clients' businesses.
  • Operational Management: Efficiently coordinate schedules, staffing assignments, and audit planning.
  • Business Growth Initiatives: Evaluate proposals, participate in promotional activities, nurture personal connections, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Administrative Support: Monitor staff schedules and workloads, address any concerns among junior staff members.
  • Training and Professional Development: Ensure team members receive constructive feedback and training both internally and externally.
  • Billing Management and Commercial Acumen: Oversee work progress and billing procedures, maintain awareness of commercial considerations.
Requirements
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CA, or ACCA).
  • Extensive background in external audit within professional services.
  • Proficient in business development tasks such as targeting, proposal drafting, presentations, and networking.
  • Expertise in applying accounting and auditing standards.
  • Effective communication skills for client, partner, and staff interactions.
  • Prior managerial experience with a talent for motivating teams.
  • Strong organisational skills to address diverse needs.
  • Experience in monitoring client expenditures within budget constraints.
