Audit Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Audit Manager to join our team at TN Recruits. As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of audit and assurance assignments, ensuring their effective and timely completion while maintaining the highest quality of standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and carry out audit assignments for clients, ensuring their effective and timely completion.
- Supervise junior staff and ensure they are on track to complete audit work within the allocated timetable and budget.
- Communicate with clients on the progress of the audit and meet with them to discuss audit and accounts-related matters.
- Advise clients on areas of business improvement and negotiate the terms of business with clients as required.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing and receipt.
- Regular dialogue with the India team.
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending CPD courses, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
- Assist the Business Development team in acquiring new clients, meeting prospective clients, and creating proposals.
- Extend the value chain by introducing new services to existing clients at all touch points.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience (ACA/ACCA) ideally in a practice environment.
- Excellent knowledge of FRS 102 and IFRS, sound knowledge of ISA's, good report writing skills, and ability to manage a team of up to 10 staff.
- Competent with CaseWare, IRIS, and familiar with the Mercia methodology.
