About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at East of England Ambulance Service. As a key member of our Workshop Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicle types.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including servicing and inspections, to ensure vehicles are in good working order.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Participate in a rota for 24-hour service and repair callouts, including working at night and weekends.
  • Conduct MOT inspections and repairs as required.
Requirements
  • IMI Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
  • Driving Licence with C1/D1 categories.
  • Significant experience working as a vehicle technician, with a focus on diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Previous experience in a business vehicle maintenance environment.
