About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team at East of England Ambulance Service. As a key member of our Workshop Services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient maintenance and repair of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of vehicle types
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including servicing and inspections
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Develop and maintain a high level of technical knowledge and expertise
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures
Requirements
  • IMI Level 3 Diploma in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Driving Licence with C1/D1 categories
  • Significant experience working as a vehicle technician in a business vehicle maintenance environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
