Yorktel is in search of a Senior Project Coordinator to enhance our dynamic team.
As a leader in providing cutting-edge audio-visual collaboration solutions, York Telecom caters to significant government and commercial sectors. Our comprehensive managed solutions have established a solid reputation for excellence in delivering technology and services, including video conferencing, campus video distribution, and online interactive multimedia video.
The Senior Project Coordinator will leverage their industry expertise, interpersonal abilities, and organizational skills to oversee activities that implement integrated visual communication solutions for our clients.
This role acts as the primary business liaison and first point of escalation for designated clients, ensuring the support of the assigned project management team to achieve complete client satisfaction. Consistent delivery of exceptional customer service is expected, alongside representing client needs and objectives within the organization to maintain quality standards.
The Senior Project Coordinator will cultivate relationships with clients and their vendors to foster new and repeat business opportunities while also nurturing internal collaborations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Project Management, this position will receive guidance and support in areas such as development, enhancement, and client escalation matters.
Key responsibilities include:
- Documenting and managing project scope effectively throughout the project delivery cycle.
- Conducting project job cost assessments and tracking for each initiative, providing monthly forecasts for the assigned team.
- Developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and work breakdown structures.
- Communicating project status, progress on deliverables, and potential risks to stakeholders and leadership promptly.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including architects and technical leads, to ensure timely project delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with client system delivery process guidelines and providing proactive feedback to project teams.
- Coordinating project-related activities across multiple departments, including Engineering, IT, and Sales.
- Engaging with suppliers to procure necessary infrastructure and tools efficiently.
- Managing large, complex accounts with multiple ongoing projects simultaneously.
- Identifying unmet customer needs and developing innovative solutions.
Essential skills and qualifications include:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in project management within a customer service environment.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- A degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, MS Project, and Smartsheet.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and implement effective solutions.
