About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced underwriter to lead our underwriting team. As an Underwriting Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing underwriting strategies, managing underwriting teams, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies to drive business growth
  • Manage underwriting teams to ensure high-quality underwriting decisions
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to redefine underwriting practices and push boundaries in the industry
  • Analyse performance data to inform underwriting decisions
  • Design underwriting plans that make a tangible impact on business growth

Requirements

  • ACII qualification or progress towards it
  • Deep underwriting experience in property or casualty insurance
  • An analytical mindset, with a knack for turning data into actionable insights
  • Excel and PowerPoint mastery to communicate your vision
  • Experience in the London Market Insurance Industry and a passion for shaping its future
