Who You are

  • Confident communicator ability to lead and influence discussions with integrity
  • Experience of successfully building and managing relationships.
  • Enthusiastic about technology and excited about change.
  • Provide class leading service levels matched with a positive energy.
  • Ideally have 3 years Development Underwriting Insurance Experience.
  • Previously worked at another UK MGA or insurer.
  • Preferably based in the Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire or Yorkshire area.


What you'll be doing

  • Working with our Head of Business Development to grow existing accounts and win new business.
  • Travel to visit brokers and attend conferences, promoting the business.
  • Self-manage individual workloads to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Champion the brand values and represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Work with other underwriters where support or team cover is required.
  • Underwrite new business within our binding authorities.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and identify opportunities of growth.
  • Provide insights and experience, be part of an evolving business.
  • Act on individual and team audit results to improve performance for both company and personal development.
  • Understand and operate within the regulatory framework and identify and escalate any risks to the business.
