About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Indemnity Underwriter to join our team at Pen Underwriting. As a key member of our underwriting team, you will be responsible for assessing and managing risk for our clients, ensuring that our policies meet their needs and provide the necessary protection.
Key Responsibilities
- Underwrite and assess risk for our clients, using your expertise and knowledge of the insurance market to identify potential risks and develop effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, brokers, and other stakeholders, providing excellent customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Contribute to the development of our underwriting strategy, working closely with our underwriting team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes, ensuring that our policies and procedures are compliant and effective.
- Collaborate with other teams within the company, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that our underwriting strategy is aligned with our overall business goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience in underwriting, preferably in the professional indemnity sector.
- Strong knowledge of the insurance market and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
