Job Benefits: Base salary of £52k, with an OTE of £55K including company bonuses, signing bonus, and additional benefits. Up to £8k for relocation expenses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance and maintenance of boiler systems and plant operations, assisting the manufacturing division in monitoring and managing plant efficiency.
- Oversee contractor management and control.
- Maintain the integrity of the building and all facilities within the site, including plant rooms, compressors, and switchgear.
- Engage in Facilities Engineering Technician tasks within the manufacturing environment.
- Support troubleshooting efforts for utilities-related plant issues.
- Identify and implement corrective measures for site operations.
- Address and resolve breakdowns associated with utilities systems.
- Conduct corrective maintenance activities.
- Manage contractors performing utilities-related tasks.
- Ensure compliance and maintenance of effluent treatment plants, supporting the manufacturing department in operational monitoring.
- Contribute to achieving the manufacturing vision through continuous improvement initiatives and collaboration with colleagues to enhance site synergies.
- Adhere to safety, quality, and hygiene standards.
- Implement effective asset care programs and standardized maintenance protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship.
- Experience in maintenance of plant services, utilities, and facilities.
- Preferred background in the manufacturing sector.
- Mechanical or Electrical bias.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.
- Knowledge of utilities, boiler systems, refrigeration, water systems, PSSR, and LOLER regulations.
