The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the site is set up and running smoothly, with a focus on remediation, groundworks, services, access roads, and external works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setting out, levelling, and surveying the site to ensure accuracy and compliance with specifications.
  • Verifying plans, drawings, and quantities to ensure calculations are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials, ensuring they meet project specifications.
  • Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Carrying out daily measures and assisting the site supervisor in recording work progress.
  • Working closely with the Project Manager to produce ITPs and maintain quality control on site.
  • Preparing reports and managing permit requests as required.
  • Raising any unexpected technical difficulties and collaborating with the Project Manager to resolve them.

Requirements:

  • Degree or HNC/HND in a construction-related or engineering discipline.
  • CSCS card.
  • Experience using AutoCAD.
  • Excellent working knowledge of GPS & Total Station.
