About the Role

Pertemps Network Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Law Solicitor to join our team in Edinburgh. As a Family Law Solicitor, you will play a key role in managing a diverse caseload and providing high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a diverse caseload: You will be responsible for managing a caseload of Family Law cases, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.
  • Deliver accurate and professional advice: You will deliver accurate and professional advice to clients, ensuring that their needs are met and their expectations are exceeded.
  • Promote the firm's services: You will promote the firm's services and contribute to business development, identifying opportunities to grow the Family Law Department.
  • Maintain confidentiality: You will maintain confidentiality and uphold the ethical code for Scottish solicitors, ensuring that client information is kept secure and confidential.
  • Dress and groom professionally: You will dress and groom appropriately for a professional environment, representing the firm in a positive and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Specialisation in Family Law: You will have a specialisation in Family Law with relevant experience, including knowledge of Sheriff Court procedures and Court of Session procedures.
  • Ability to work independently: You will have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, managing your own caseload and prioritizing tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Office: You will be proficient in MS Word, Internet, basic Excel, and email, with the ability to use these tools to manage your caseload and communicate with clients.
  • Valid driving license: You will have a valid driving license, with the ability to travel to meetings and appointments as required.

  • Ability to handle a varied workload: You will have the ability to handle a varied workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proactive attitude: You will have a proactive attitude towards business development and continuous learning, with a desire to grow and develop your skills and knowledge.
